Nestled along the beautiful coast of Maine, Holbrook offers a variety of senior living options including Assisted Living, Holbrook Memory Care, Long-Term Nursing Home Care , Short-Term Rehabilitation , and Respite Care. Our compassionate staff is available around the clock to offer support and to communicate with family members. Our high quality amenities include a heated indoor pool, private rooms, fine food with dining options, and a beautiful oceanfront setting. Our Activities Manager organizes a full activity calendar and engages our residents in a broad range of activities.

Holbrook Assisted Living offers a limited number of private one-bedroom apartments with all the amenities of at-home living.

Holbrook Memory Care

Holbrook Memory Care offers the secure environment and compassionate care that allows family members to be family again. Our staff understands the unique needs of individuals with memory care and dementia. Together, we ensure your loved one’s safety and comfort with respect and dignity. As with all areas of Holbrook, we make it possible for our Memory Care residents to safely enjoy all that our community has to offer.

Long-Term Nursing Care

Short-Term Rehabilitation Care

Holbrook Health Center is the perfect place to speed your recovery after joint replacement surgery for orthopedic physical therapy or other medical procedures requiring rehabilitation nursing services.

Our short-term, skilled rehabilitation services include physical, occupational, speech, aqua and some forms of IV therapy. Patients receive around the clock nursing support services in a fully secure environment.

All Holbrook accommodations are private and include internet connections, phones, and a television. We offer adjoining private rooms for those couples who want to be together. Holbrook also has a working kitchen so residents receiving occupational therapy can learn to navigate one of the most important rooms in the home.

Subject to availability, Holbrook is available to both private pay and Medicare patients who require occupational therapy or physical therapy as part of a recovery and rehabilitation process.

Respite Care Services

Most caregivers in Southern Maine look after their parents or grandparents in their own homes and have had few, if any, resources for care exceeding 24 hours to back them up. Holbrook accommodates families with respite care stays for as little as a day, a long weekend or up to one month or more, if needed. Respite care at Holbrook offers family caregivers a short, well-deserved break.

Holbrook provides licensed nursing coverage as well as meals, snacks, and assistance with daily living support such as bathing and dressing. Availability is dependent upon the number of beds available at any given time.

Families who have taken advantage of Holbrook’s respite care service enjoy our comfortable Maine inn-like atmosphere with all-private rooms and beautiful oceanfront setting on a 138-acre retirement community campus. Just as importantly, they appreciate the resident-centered culture that includes skilled nursing care provided by our Holbrook staff.
